An evening of Darts, with all proceeds to the Iron

Scunthorpe United presents an evening of darts at the Wortley House Hotel on Wednesday, April 24th, with Joe Cullen, Fallon Sherrock, Simon Whitlock and Dave Ladley all part of the event.

The players involved, all sponsored by Henry's at the Exchange, are all giving their time to the event to support the football club, while the event has a number of sponsors that have got involved to lend their hand to the Iron, including:

Tickets are available for just £30 each for general admission, with the option to purchase a VIP Meet and Greet ticket for £50.

The doors open for general admission commences at 6.30pm, with the event starting at 7pm. VIP Meet and Greet ticket holders will be contacted separately with information following booking their tickets.

All money raised at the event will come to Scunthorpe United in a latest fundraising effort.

Joe "The RockStar" Cullen first came to prominence in 2008 when he qualified for the UK Open. Winning the Masters in 2022, last year he made it to the semi-finals of the World Matchplay and the World Grand Prix, and is a seven-time Player Championships winner.

Fallon "Queen of the Palace" Sherrock became the first female player to win a match, and subsequently, two consecutive matches, at the PDC World Championships in 2019. She has been runner-up of the World Championships and World Masters, winning the World Trophy and Finders Masters, with a long list of tournament wins.

Simon "The Wizard" Whitlock's greatest achievements to date are winning the 2012 European Championship and 2022 World Cup of Darts for Australia with Damon Heta. Whitlock has also finished runner-up at the 2008 BDO World Darts Championship and the 2010 PDC World Darts Championship.

Hometown player Dave "Ladders" Ladley joined the PDC in 2002, and qualified for the 2004 UK Open. He plays and supports the local darts scene, by running the annual Scunthorpe Open competition. Featuring in the World Championships in 2007, he was edged out by James Wade in the second round.
